The Do Dham Yatra typically begins from the town of Haridwar or Rishikesh, where devotees take a sacred dip in the holy Ganges River to cleanse themselves before embarking on the journey. From there, they proceed towards Guptkashi or Sonprayag, where they commence the trek or opt for helicopter services to reach Kedarnath. After seeking the blessings of Lord Shiva, pilgrims make their way to Badrinath, either by road or helicopter, to pay homage to Lord Vishnu.
